EdPuzzle

Are you one of those that think traditional materials are quite boring? Using textbooks are out of fashion nowadays, right? To integrate technology into our classes with many opportunities is simple. Thanks to some apps and platforms teachers can have interactive lessons without boring the students. Edpuzzle is one of them. I'll be explaining it right below:

To make the lesson more interesting teachers sometimes consult YouTube for useful videos that can be showed in class. Here, Edpuzzle steps in:  It allows teachers and students to create interactive online videos by embedding either open-ended or multiple-choice questions, audio notes, audio tracks, or comments on a video.

What can you achieve with EdPuzzle?

* It helps you customize the video content.

* If you think there are unnecessary parts on the video, you can cut them out.

* If you think some parts are missing, you can add voice over to the video.

* It improves students' listening skills as well as their comprehension abilities.

How is it used?

After signing up, you'll see your home page and you can start editing videos by choosing your video at the left column. You can choose your video by popular channels that EdPuzzle suggests you such as TED Talk or YouTube. Then you write something about your lesson (e.g Colors) and you'll see the pre-made questions if available under each of the video. After clicking the video you can see how many questions there are on the right side. When the question pops up, the video stops and waits for student to answer. If the student answered it correctly it gives feedback and shows score immediately.

If you want to create a content, click 'My content' ๐Ÿ‘‰ 'Add content' ๐Ÿ‘‰ 'Create a video'. Also, you can copy a link of a video from YouTube and paste it here. Firstly, you need to decide where you want to add a question in the video. After that you can create multiple choices about the question.
